100 posts and a Giveaway!!

 Hello everyone!  If you are new here: Welcome!!  If not, welcome back!
I am Ginette, a 4th generation quilter who lives in Orleans ON, a suburb of Ottawa, CANADA.
Please feel free to explore my blog and check out some of my quilting projects, I love to share my passion.

I am so excited to participate for the first time in the Quilting Gallery's Blog Hop Party!
It just so happens, this is also my 100th post! How exciting is that!

I think that definitely deserves a Giveaway!
So I have decided to give the lucky winner, a few notions.

First up is a Frixion pen.  I LOVE my Frixion pen.  In case you don't know about these pens, they are a wonderful notion many quilters use to mark their fabric and it disappears when you iron over it. I love using it to mark fabric for HSTs.  


Next we have one of my absolute, can't live without, favorite tools:  a bamboo point turner and presser.  I use this all the time to make pillows, or do a "quick-turn" (instead of binding).  The point on this thing is awesome.  My favorite use for it is to turn the points when I make dresden plates!  


Last but not least we have Wonder Clips.  I personally don't use these but they are fantastic for holding your binding down when handstitching.


So there you have it, I hope you like this little bundle of notions I have put together for this giveaway.

    I'm making an infinity scarf for a present, and I have to start & finish a pouch for my daughter's roommate by the weekend. Not as bad as it sounds,,,I've got the pattern & fabric chosen,,jut a matter of doing it. So glad I found your blog & have been following for quite some time. Congrats on your 100th post!

    What a great bundle of notions - all so very useful! Right now I am finishing up four wallhangings for my nieces and daughter. There is a painted scene of Haystack Rock in Cannon Beach, Oregon, which happens to be our favorite place of all time. Just need to quilt and bind them.     One can't have too many useful gizmos. I have never seen those items before. Right now I am quilting a very large scrap quilt. It keeps me warm in the winter so I hope I can get it done before the weather turns hot again. I also have a few small table runner type projects for working on during train rides or long boring meetings.

    Tonight I finished doing some stitch-in-the-ditch on a WIP that's been sitting around for too long and is being turned into a Christmas gift! I also got the binding machine-sewn on - now for two weeks of hand stitching! :) Great giveaway choices!

    Well, thanks. Love all those tools, used them. Tonight I helped my granddaughter make an apron. We have 2 more before Christmas. She's getting pretty good but gets frustrated by following a pattern. Soon she'll be able to look at the pattern and figure out how it all goes. THanks.

    I just finished the last of 14 quilts that I will be taking to a nursing home next week...last weekend I delivered 6 quilts to the co owner of my charity group for her to deliver to the hospital and a abused women and children's shelter.

    I'm a gadget lover so more notions are always welcome. I use the Frixion pens - so cool! I'm currently working to complete the quilting on two Scrappies for my daughter and daughter-in law. Used about 150 fabrics on a crisp white background. Love 'em! Thanks for the giveaway.
