Lil Twister Finish!

I did it, I managed to finish my Lil Twister Pillow last night.

I absolutely love it! It was so much fun and easy to make! I used all scraps for my stash for the piecing. I decided to quilt in the ditch around the pinwheels and then again around them using the width of my foot as a guide. Then I quilted in the ditch of the borders and at one inch increments in the last border. I used a variegated Valdani thread called Harvest.

I just used an old fat quarter from my stash for the back.

And there it is in it's new home, what we call our "reading room". My family seem to really like this one though and it moved into the Family room at one point in time today so this may not be it's permanent home!

  3. Very pretty lil twister pillow. I love the background fabric around the pinwheels and your backing fabric is lovely. That's a very nice choice for this pillow. I absolutely love pinwheels but haven't tried the lil twister yet. Did you like using it and would you recommend it?
